Third grade students learned about line drawings and using a variety of lines. Students learned about line weight (thin to thick, varying lines) and about line designs (zig-zag, curved, and straight). Students also learned about drawing with lines and using lines for shading and texture (different types include hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, contour lines, and gestural lines).
We used our imaginations to draw robots and then got to share with the class information about our robots, including their name and function.
